Thank you for your interest in Money Metals Exchange's Gold & Silver Savings Plan. You're on your way to converting some of your government fiat money into real assets on a disciplined basis through this exclusive monthly program!
Silver Option #1: Don't Tread on Me Silver Round – 1 oz
Money Metals Exchange commissioned this beautiful one troy ounce, .999 pure silver coin (or "round") not only to provide a tool for citizens to protect against the collapse of the dollar's purchasing power, but to help reinvigorate the very symbols of Liberty upon which this nation was founded. These symbols are not to be denigrated and demonized as the highest levels of our political class are now trying to do. Instead they must be renewed, revered, and passed on to new generations who want the Founding Fathers' principles reasserted in modern-day America.
Silver bullion rounds are one of the most popular ways for investors to hold silver. Our Don't Tread On Me rounds feature a meaningful design and are beautifully made. The ultra low premiums keep these rounds priced very close to the spot market price of silver! Each round weighs 1 full Troy ounce and purity is guaranteed at .999 fine silver.
Silver Option #2: Walking Liberty Silver Round – 1 oz
Walking Liberty (obverse) – Between 1916 and 1947 the United States minted what is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful coin designs ever. This Walking Liberty half-dollar silver coin was designed by Adolf A. Weinman, who was also the designer of the popular Mercury Dime. The current "American Silver Eagles" have a similar design on the obverse. These silver rounds are much larger and contain almost three times as much silver as the Walking Liberty half-dollar, which only contains 0.357 ounces of silver after factoring out the copper (which is 10% of its overall weight).
Perched Eagle (reverse) – The perched eagle is a popular rendition placed on numerous United States Mint coins, beginning in 1795 and becoming more prevalent in the mid-1800's.
The other silver bullion round option is our proprietary .999 fine Walking Liberty one-ounce silver round. Of course, silver rounds are not legal tender and do not purport to be numismatic items. Rather, they are a fantastic way to get more silver ounces for the money than most other options.
Silver Option #3: Silver American Eagle Coin – 1 oz
The design is based on Adolph A. Weinman's 1916 "Walking Liberty" half dollar, widely considered one of the most beautiful American coins ever minted. Although they are more expensive than our silver rounds, American Silver Eagles are also easy to buy and sell at most coin, precious metal, and brokerage companies.
Money Metals Exchange is pleased to make available the highly popular silver American Eagle in $1 (1 Oz) denomination. The U.S. Mint has been minting these one-dollar American Silver Eagle coins since 1986. Like our bullion rounds, each of these American Silver Eagles contains a minimum of one troy ounce of .999 pure silver. The silver American Eagle's weight, content, and purity is guaranteed by the United States Government.
Silver Option #4: Canadian Maple Leaf – 1 oz
The Canadian Silver Maple Leaf coins have been minted annually by the prestigious Royal Canadian Mint (RCM) since 1988. The obverse of the Silver Maple Leaf contains the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. There are three different versions, a young head version, an old head version, and an older head version. The year of issue and the face value of five dollars are also displayed on this side. The national emblem, the maple leaf, adorns the Canadian coin's reverse. On some variations is a small privy mark on the lower half of the coin or color enhancement.
The Canadian Maple Leaf, becoming more popular by the day, is a one-troy-ounce silver bullion coin. As is the case with other RCM bullion coins, the purity of the Silver Maple Leaf is .9999. Furthermore, the face value of the Silver Maple Leaf is five Canadian dollars, making it the highest denominated legal tender coin among any one-ounce silver coin.
Gold Option #1: Lady Liberty Gold Round - 1/10 oz
The Lady Liberty gold round is one of the most affordable ways to obtain gold. Money Metals Exchange offers this one-tenth troy ounce piece, each made of .9999 pure (24 karat) gold. We tend to prefer these gold rounds over legal tender coins because you get more gold for your money.
The gorgeous 1/10 troy ounce Lady Liberty round is minted in 24 karat (.9999 fine) purity. They feature a stunning depiction of Lady Liberty, representing Libertas (the Roman goddess of Freedom), and a descending eagle on the reverse. These pure gold rounds are a low-cost way to acquire fractional gold.
Gold Option #2: Gold American Eagle Coin – 1/10 oz
The beautiful and classic design of the American Gold Eagle bullion coin is captured in the graceful Striding Liberty, first created by Augustus Saint Gaudens for the 1907-1933 $20 U.S. Double Gold Eagle gold coin. The reverse depicts a nest of American eagles signifying the strength and security of American families. Only gold mined in the United States, by law, is used in the minting of American Gold Eagle coins. Since its introduction in 1986, it has become the world's most widely traded gold bullion coin.
Money Metals Exchange is also pleased to make available the beautiful gold American Eagle in $5 (1/10th Oz) denomination, produced by the U.S. Mint since 1986. The 1/10 troy oz Gold Eagle coin value is based on its gold content, but it also carries a legal tender value of 5 U.S. dollars. The 1/10 oz Gold Eagle's weight, content, and purity is guaranteed by the United States Government.
